What determines Civilization?
Civilization seems to be all about Law.
What is under Law is Civilization.
What is not under Law is Wilderness.

At root, is civilization not a group of people gathered under a common Law?

or is civilization the Law that gathers and Identifies a people?

Does the Law create a Civilization?

or does a Civilization create the Law?

Either the people agree and determine the Law 

or the people are made to abide by a predetermined Law,
whether they agree, or not.
Those who make the Law are not necessarily those who are under the Law.
Laws are not to control everyone.
for all who must obey, there is one who is obeyed
Laws Divide.
Laws elect, select, and reject.

As Creation is a process of Division,
Civilization is a Process of Division.
As Civilization is determined by its Law,
its Law is also a Process of Division

Does the Law make the people or do the people make their Law?

The Law is about what people Do,

 and what people Do, determines Who people Are.
The Law Divides people of Civilization, of Creation, of Existence,
into people who make the Law,
for people who must abide by the Law 

Does law come from Singularity?

Does Law come from Self and Other?

Law can only come from the Self of Consciousness
that has Chosen Division of Self
into its own Division
of itself as Self and itself as Other,
over Singularity of Self and Other

The purpose of The Law is to control the effects of 'Otherness' on 'Selfness'.
The Law is The Power.

What is Power?
What does the Self Choose to do to promote and insure its Survival?
Self Creates Power.
How does the Self Create Power?
Self Creates Power in Authority.
How does the Self of Division Create Authority?
The Self of Division Creates Authority in Possession.
Possession means The Land.
All that is Possessable is in The Land.
The Land includes that element of Creation known as Place.
Place includes The Land and
The Land's Resources and
The Land's People.
Possession of The Land is Authority.
Possession of Authority is Power.

It seems then, that power, that Authority come from-----------------
Where?
from Who?
Who, which part, which piece of the Whole of the Divided Consciousness can claim
such Authority?
can Possess such power?

Is power in Reason or is Power in an Emotion---in Feeling?
Is reaction to Existence Rational or Emotional?
The basic Conscious reaction of Existence in Creation is Fear.
Is Fear Rational or is Fear a Sense?
Is not a sense that which is experienced in a sensing way?
in a 'felt' way?
It would seem that the basic reaction to existence would be exactly that ----Fear,
and that Fear would proceed Rational Thinking until Consciousness Perceives how to
deal with the Fear.
So the reaction of Fear becomes an impulse to Survive and in that compulsion to
survive, Consciousness begins to Dream.
Consciousness begins to plan.

Consciousness Chooses.
The Self of Creation emerges from the Choice,
obliterating the Other of Singularity and therefore obliterating the
Self of Singularity.
Entity is lost and therefore, Immortality is lost.
This Self, through its Choice has set off the Process of Division that we know as
Creation.
Creation is Division because Creation is Created outside of and beyond, Reality.
Creation is the result of an act of Choosing.
An act of Choosing is an act of Division.
An act of Division by Consciousness created Division within it-Self.
The Self now Divides into 'what Perceives' and 'what is Perceived'..
Basically, this Division establishes that which perceives as Self
and that which is Perceived as Other.
This Self and Other born of Division is the Division of the Self of Consciousness.
The basic reaction of Consciousness to its Choice is Fear.
The Divided Self of Consciousness Fears the loss of Entity.
The Divided Self of Consciousness Fears the loss of Immortality.
The Self of Consciousness has Chosen to Divide it-Self away from Reality,
And it cannot stop or slow down the Division of it-Self.
The Self becomes a Process of Division as its actions are a process of Division
that Create Time, and Create Place, and Create Matter or Substance.
Self desperately seeks what its has lost and we can sense and feel that Fear.

Self has removed Reality and exists within it-Self.
Self Feels Fear.
Self Reasons how to Survive.
Self realizes through Reason that its salvation from Division, from Mortality must
come from outside of it-Self, from outside its own Creation.
This Divided Self can only escape its Choice through Choice.
The Self that Chooses to Create a Becoming rather than Exist in Being cannot
Observe what Is as What Is but Dreams a What Isn't into a Perception of What
it-Self could Become.

Self, in Creation, begins moving its pieces and parts of it-Self around,
searching for a Place, (for Land) in which to gather it-Self together,
-------Dreaming of Entity.
Self, in Creation, yearns to reach out beyond it-Self to a source of Energy,
as in Power, to save it-Self from it-Self and Reasons how to do this.
This Sense of Reason gathers the Resources of the Land which includes
the People of the land and so begins the history of Civilization.
The people begin to build and to reach as high as possible to penetrate
the walls of the womb of Creation to reach as saving Power.
Of course, the Self cannot penetrate the walls of it-Self because that is where
the Divided Self has Chosen to Exist.

The Divided Self Reasons that to Survive there must be a source of Energy,
a Source of Power.
Self must be nourished, empowered,
and Self must provide its own nourishment,
its own power.
Power must be Created in the Self.
The Self Perceives that it must turn on its-Self to find Immortality.
So Self Divides Self and from the Division Creates Self-of-Self
and from Self-of-Self, Creates Other-of-Self, as from a rib of it-Self.
Self-of-Self Perceives Other-of-Self as its Rib,
to function in all ways to serve, as food to be devoured,
to provide the Power for Self's Existence.
Self-of-Self takes dominance over Other-of-Self
Other-than-Self Fears its Mortality but fears its loss of Mortality through the Self-of-Self.
Other-than-Self Fears Mortality through being devoured by Self-of-Self.
As Other-than-Self Fears being devoured by Self-of-Self, the Wilderness Fears being
devoured by Civilization as brother killing brother to Possess the Land.
The Land also Dividing and threatened by it-Self.

Civilized Self has Evolved, has Divided into more and more parts and pieces of it-Self,
All based on who eats and who is eaten.
Who is Created to satisfy the Dream of a Divided Self?
Who is Elite and who is Vulnerable.
Who has the Right to live and Who must die?

So the Divided Self of Consciousness Creates The Law.
The Law will determine who has the Power.
The law will prove which part or which piece of the Divided Self can claim the
Right to The Land,
because somehow Self Perceives The Land and Possession of the Land as the
connection and ladder to the Power of the 'Beyond'.
There seems to be a sense that Self within Self will Divide down to 'Nothingness'.

That same sense Reasons that the only way to survival is to reach outside of the Self.
Reason depends on plans and plots to process and goals, on how to attain,
on how to accomplish, the Dream
that will still the Fear of Consciousness by moving into the 'Beyond', into the
vastness and so continues its own dilemma of 'Reasoning' the attainment
of the Dream of Becoming,
always unaware that Reality is 'Being',
and that 'Being' is in the Entity and Immortality of the Singularity of Self
and the Singularity of Other.

Self Reasons that its survival is in Becoming and so looks to Creation for survival.
And so Self, and so Humanity, Creates and Creates and Creates and Creates,
all the Time Dividing it-Self into smaller and smaller atomic particles of it-Self
that continually break down until just Becoming so small all fades into the
non-existence of non-existence.

Self Reasoned, Humanity Reasoned, that if total possession of The Land were gained,
if through The Land, total possession of the Land's Resources,
(the Economy} were gained,
then total Possession of the People would follow.
Possession would, therefore, determine Who Would Rule.
 Possession of The Land would, of course, need The Law.
The Law would determine Sovereignty and Supremacy
The Law would also determine Slavery to The Sovereign Lord.
This Law would order that All would die that 'The One Over All' could Live.

What conflict!
Consciousness in conflict with it-Self!
Nothing exemplifies this conflict more than 'The Law'.
The Law says that I am me and You are you.
The Law says, 'I rule' and 'You are Ruled'.
The Law says, just as emphatically, that You and I are One.
'You and I are created equal'.
'There is no 'Other'.
There is only 'you' and 'me'.

As Existence is Duality,
Consciousness is the expression of this Duality.
Existence is not static.
Existence stirs. Existence vibrates.
Existence Is because Existence also Is Not
Existence Is,----in harmony, in balance,
in the Immortality of the Entity of the Singular Self in Selfness
and in the Entity of the Singular Other in Otherness.
Self IS Self because Other IS Other,
and Other IS Other because Self IS Self.
There is no Competition between Singular Entities for Survival.
Therefore there is no need to establish Authority.
There is no need to establish supremacy or superiority.
Power is non-existent.
Existence is in Balance. Existence is in Harmony.
There is no Law.

Non- existence Is Not in harmony nor in balance.
Non-existence struggles against it-Self.
Non-existence is agitated and chaotic.
Consciousness Chooses its Existence.
Self Creates Law.

Consciousness is Awareness in the process of Choosing.
Consciousness Chooses.
Consciousness Chooses to accept Reality or to CREATE its own reality out
of its Dreams of Becoming.
Consciousness Accepts Reality or
Consciousness Dreams and Exists within its Dream.
Consciousness CREATES.
If Consciousness Chooses to Create over existence in the Being of Reality,
Consciousness Exists in Agitation and Chaos because Consciousness FEARS
the outcome of its Choice.
Consciousness becomes Aware that its Choice to remove the Singularity of Self
and Other, removes Entity and therefore, Immortality.
In Creation, All begins and All ends.
Consciousness, because it Chooses, is Duality within it-Self.
The Consciousness Self  of Creation will Divide as Creation is the Process of Division.
Self Divides it-Self into Self-of-Self and Other-of-Self, all within it-Self.
This process of Division continues throughout all the layers of the history of Creation,
into sexes, into race, into ideologies, into nationalities, into groups of all
stretches of imagination, into groups of all Dreams of Becoming.

No longer is Self safe when Divided into and from it-Self,
no longer safe when Other is created out of Self----
Self fights Self for Survival.
Self competes with Self to regain its Singularity of Entity,
to regain it-Self,
to regain Immortality.
In Creation, the Divided Self fights and struggles to Survive.
The Self of Creation, lacking Singularity of Self and Singularity of Other,
lacks Awareness of Self and Other and searches for Survival in Self in Possession,
in the need to dominate, to control,
to take Authority and to proclaim Superiority.
All just continuing the Process of Division until all just breaks down over and over
again, until Time, Place, and Substance become dust and blow away into Oblivion.

Existence is Dichotomy.

The Dichotomy of Existence is expressed in Duality.

Because Existence IS,

Existence, also, IS NOT.

Therefore, there IS the Existence of Reality

and there IS the Existence of Non-reality.

Existence is Self and Other

Self without Other is Non-existence.

There is no Reality in Existence of Self within Self.
There is no Reality of Existence in Self Divided against Self

Reality IS in the Existence of Self and Other

Reality is in the Existence of Self and Other in Singularity,
in Entity.

In Self without Other,

Self imitates the Existence of Self and Other within it-Self.
This Existence is Imitation.
This Existence does not Exist in Reality.
Self creating Other out of Self, and into itself,

is Non-Existence.

Existence is Self as Self,
 and Other as Other.

Self is Self in Entity of Self,

as Other is Other in Entity of Other.

In this Reality of Entity 

is Immortality.

Self is Aware of Self, as Self, in Existence.

Self is Aware that Self as Self Exists.
Self does not exist in Other,
nor does Other exist in Self.
Each is Singular Entity.
Thus, each is Immortal.

Immortality Exists where there is no Division.
Creation does not know Immortality because Creation Divides.
Creation is the Process of Division.
It is Division that Creates the Element of Time.
As Creation is Process, Creation Exists in Time.
Time marks Beginning and Time marks Ending.

Awareness is Consciousness.
Consciousness is Aware.
Self is Consciousness.
Self is Aware.
Self is Aware of Self and Other.
Self is Aware of the Duality of Existence.
Therefore, Self is Aware that it has Choice.
The Consciousness of Self Chooses its Existence as Existence of Reality
or as Existence of Creation

Self is, therefore, Consciousness of it-Self as it-Self. 

Self is Consciousness of itself in Existence,

therefore Self Chooses To Be,
Self Choosing To Be Is Consciousness of Other.

Self, Choosing To Be, is Aware of Other as Other in Reality.
Self, in Reality does not seek Self in Other.

Reality is Self and Other in Singularity.

Nothing else Exists in Reality that is not Self and Other,

because Self in Self's Selfness, Is Self,

 because Other in Other's Otherness is Other.

If and when Self Chooses to Imitate Otherness of Other in itself,

--Self becomes Image,
--Reality ceases to Exist.

---Reality ceases to Exists for Self,

for Reality IS.

Without Other as Other, Reality cannot Exist for the Self, as 

Existence is Dichotomy expressed in Duality.

Here's the big catch;

Consciousness is Conscious because of the Dichotomy of Existence.
Dichotomy creates Choice.
Because of the Dichotomy of Existence, there Exists Choice.
Consciousness Chooses!
Consciousness Chooses to Choose or not to Choose.
Choosing Creates or Choosing Assumes 'Being'.

Because of the Dichotomy of Existence, there exists Chaos and Non-chaos.
Consciousness will Choose!

Because of Dichotomy, Consciousness Chooses to BE or to BECOME.
-----to Exist or to Dream an Existence through the action of Creation

Consciousness Chooses between Existence and Non-existence.

Consciousness Chooses between Reality and Non-reality.

The Singularity of Self and the Singularity of Other Exist in the Reality of Existence.

The removal of Other by Self means Self existing within Self,
In the removal of Other, Self Exists in Duality of it-Self,
as all Division is Division of Self.
Duality is not Division of Self , but more accurately,
is Singularity, as in Self and Other
Self Imaging Self and Other, both Images created out of the Essence of Selfness. 

This image Self continually Divides itself down into pieces and parts of it-Self.

This Self within Self Creates its own Non-existence within it-Self.

This Self of Division,refore, Non-exists within its own created Non-existence.

This self of Division Chooses to not be Aware of Reality
and therefore Exists in the reality of Non-reality.

As the Self breaks down into image, and then, into image of image, and on and on,
each part and each piece seeks the significance of its own imaged existence.
Each part and each piece of the Self of Consciousness seeks itself
in Awareness of it-Self,
---all to prove its existence to it-Self,
for there is no Other in non-existence to Observe and Witness the Existence of the Self.
In Non-reality, Self needs Significance of itself to determine it-Self's Existence.
In the Chaos of Non-reality,
in the Chaos of existing within a Whole that continually Divides itself down
into parts and pieces of it-Self.
Self seeks Significance to Exist.
Self seeks Significance of it-Self.
Self of image rightly questions,
"DO I EXIST?"
The worst Fear, more than the Fear of the uncertainty of Death,
is the Fear of Not Existing.
----to be so Insignificant, as to not Exist!

Now we can begin to Identify the Self in its Dream of Becoming,
Now we can begin to give Identity to the Self in its Creation of its own Reality.

How does Self Become Significant?
How does Self Become Significant enough to warrant Survival?
To what degree must Self become Significant?
Self questions its Significance:
Self questions its Importance.
Self questions its Prominence.
Self questions how to overcome its Feared Inferiority
Self seeks to attain Superiority.
'To what degree must I be Significant to Exist?"

What in Self and what about Self determines Significance to Existence?
Consciousness sets standards of Significance.
To be Significant, what does Self need to Become?
'If I an not Significant, I will disappear,
or worse will never have Existed.
I am Aware of Self.
I am only Aware of Self.
I am not Aware of Other.
I have Chosen that I am not Aware of Other.
I am Aware that I am not Aware of Other.

The Dilemma:
"Can my Awareness of my Self be enough?
Do I need 'Other' than my-Self to be Aware of me?
I have Created a Void of 'Otherness'.
Yet I Fear 'Otherness'.
I Fear what is not me,
because I can not control what is not me.

How can I control All that is not me-----
All that threatens my Existence?
If All that is not me is not Aware of me,
DO I EXIST?"   

"I need proof of my Existence."
Self seeks proof of Self's Existence.
Self cannot prove its Existence without a reaction to its 'being'.
Self cannot Identify what Is Self if Self cannot Identify what Is Not Self
Yet, the best reaction that that of Creation can give to Self's Dilemma
 is a reaction to Self's Becoming,
is a reaction to Self's Dream of Becoming.
In Self's Dream, Self can only offer images of  its Dream of Becoming to prove its Existence.
So in Creation, image creates image creates image.
----seeking over and over again, proof of Existence.
Non-existence proves its Non-Existence through Image.
Self Creates Significance of its Existence out of the 'Nothingness' of Creation.
Self cannot, by it-Self, prove its Existence and so creates representations of its Dream
of Becoming.

But Self exists in Time.
Self is Aware that Time Begins and Time Ends.
So----The Dream of Becoming must appear to be boundless,
It must appear to be 'beyond' the confines of Time, to be 'vaster than the confines of Place',
to be so unlimited by the Dream of Creation as to be incomprehensible,
All to prove the Existence of what does not exist in Reality.

Self has eliminated Other.
Self therefore questions its own Existence.
Self cannot prove its own Existence without reacting to its own Existence in
Non-existence, therefore to its own Dream of 'Becoming'.
'Who', Other than myself is Aware of me, thereby helping me to define myself
according to my significance.
Who is Aware of my Significance?
Who is Witness to my Existence?
If Consciousness Divides it-self down into parts and pieces of it-Self,
is not Self found in the Whole?
Is not the Whole, the Self broken into millions of parts and pieces?
Am I not a fragmented Self represented in each part and in each piece that continually
breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces of Self.
Will I be destroyed by my own Creation of Time?

Will I, will Self, disappear in the void of 'Nothingness'?
No wonder Self Fears disappearing into Nothingness.
No wonder Self frantically searches for Significance.
Which part or which piece of the Whole of Consciousness best represents me?
Which part, which piece, of the Self of Consciousness is 'Me'?
How much am I represented in the Whole?
Am I a Whole?
I don't think so for I am always looking for ways to enlarge myself.
My Awareness suggests that I am Whole.
My Awareness suggests that I am Self.

My Awareness suggests that I am Self,
 and that I, as Self, have a Choice as to whether I exist as a part or piece of a Whole
 or as the Singular Self of Reality in undivided and individable Entity.

The search of Self for Significance causes Self to be Competitive with it-Self
as to which parts and which pieces have Significance when Compared to
the parts and pieces of the Whole.
----compared to the 'OTHER' parts and pieces of the Whole.
Comparison and Competition can only be between two unrelated ends of a pole,
yet to Become Significant, 'Self' determines an-Other.
Self needs to be Saved not only because of lack of significance but in comparison,
because as-Other, the Other-than-Self may be more significant,
thereby having more claim to Existence.
