Post #35 "The Meaning of Choosing"

The flip side of this Choice-the choice to be like God, to become God, is the desire for the removal of God. It is not possible to become that which already exists. To become God, God must be removed. To become God mandates the taking on of God's qualities and attributes. Ownership of God's qualities is the hidden desire for God's non-existence. Of course, God's non-existence is the case for God or non-God, as in Reality to Non-reality. Is God the God of Creation? Is God the God of non-Reality? Possessing God's qualities would make possessing God and God's qualities unnecessary. However, possessing God's qualities would mean consuming God's qualities that God's qualities would transfer from God to another. Possession of God's qualities by Intelligence/by humanity would bring about the transference of humanity into God for, as previously noted, there can only be one God, for God to be God. Having God's qualities and attributes would bring about the transference of consciousness into God; Consciousness consuming God or God's qualities is one and the same. God's qualities, God's persona, can only be owned by God; consequently the desire for God's qualities must involve the removal of God. Is rivalry for God's qualities in any way: thinking, dreaming, desiring, or choosing? Is humanity's striving for Perfection cause for hatred, violence, and war, as in determining who closest resembles God or claims God's name, or claims God's attributes?

What would happen or what has happened, if more than one individual or community, nation, political party, or school of thought, or if religion, or science, desired God's qualities? Isn't this exactly what is happening? Isn't the transfer of God with Consciousness exactly the issue? There can only be one God. Is it religion or science and technology? Is it sports? Is it politics? Is it money? Is it the entertainment world? Is it the pursuit of beauty and all its accoutrements? Is the goal of becoming God ever attained? Is it even attainable? By what process does humanity achieve Perfection? By what process does humanity become God? What do we need to do? What do we do? There lies deep within humanity not only the desire to become God but also an instinctual urge or energy as in freneticism that pushes towards the goal. The urge is to remove everyone else from the playing field, for only one person can attain the standard for perfection. Only one can become the God of Creation. Only one can remain. Only one can claim the prize. This innate urge is best described as competition. Competitiveness is the human attribute or characteristic that is employed to gain Power, the power that is needed to win the status of perfection. Competitiveness is activity, hence is energy, hence, competitiveness is destructive. We compete to prove to ourselves and others that we are coming closer to Perfection, to becoming like God, to prove that we are better than everyone else. We desire, we compete to be The Best.
